A preseason built around matches
Tar Heel Tennis Camps brings nine high school girls programs at a time onto the courts of the University of North Carolina for three days of dual-match competition and Carolina coaching.
You bring a team, not a group of campers
Every program arrives with a lineup and leaves having played four duals against four different schools — roughly 36 individual matches, all in a dual format with a real result.
What makes this camp different
On the court
- Directed by Brian Kalbas — UNC’s women’s head coach runs the camp, with current Carolina student-athletes on court.
- Eighteen courts in one place — all at the Chewning Tennis Center, enough to run three duals at once with room to warm up.
- Seeded flights — three rounds set the seeding, then Gold, Silver, and Bronze; nobody plays out a lost weekend.
The trip
- One price, everything in — housing, meals, courts, balls, shirts, and the athletic trainer are all inside the team fee.
- Three days, not a week — two sessions run back to back in one week, so you pick the half that fits your calendar.
Six blocks, four duals, one championship
Nine teams means three duals run at a time and three teams sit out each block to recover and prepare for their next match.
